1. outline the history and the assessment of the accused in a high profile homicide,
2. appreciate the ethical, countertransference and personal stressors encountered by the assessor in dealing with a high profile NCR assessment, and
3. consider the impact of media attention on the conduct of the psychiatric assessment and of the legal process in a high profile homicide.
