Dr. Tuong-Vi Nguyen of McGill University, received the award for her paper, Psychosomatic medicine and psychiatry residents: a pan-Canadian survey. This paper provided a novel examination of how this unique area of psychiatry is being trained in residency programs in Canada and how it is perceived by trainees.

Dr. Mark Lachmann wins for his paper entitled, Morbidity and Mortality Review in Psychiatry.

Dr. Ajmal Razmy and Dr. Nick Grujich coauthored the paper, An Evaluation of the Professional Role During Psychiatric Residency. This paper reported on the results of an anonymous survey of 128 University of Toronto psychiatry residents. The authors found that fewer than half the residents surveyed felt that the professional role was adequately evaluated and that 84 per cent of those surveyed favoured incorporating multi-source feedback for the evaluation of this role.
