Dr. Naista Zhand from Ottawa, Ontario, was recognized with the Early Career Achievement in Psychiatry Award for her exemplary dedication to the clinical care of patients in the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre’s schizophrenia program. In addition to her research and clinical activities, Dr. Zhand is committed to the enrichment of education. She founded and is the fellowship director of the schizophrenia fellowship program affiliated with the University of Ottawa.
