Mental Health Matters CPA Parliamentary Breakfast Opens Dialogue on the Hill
On April 10, close to 20 MPs and Senators joined over 35 psychiatrists from the Canadian Psychiatric Association for a breakfast on the Hill. Hosted by Senator Kelvin Ogilvie, breakfast featured the compelling stories of two ordinary Canadians, Matt and Rachel, and their lived experience with mental illness, setting the context for over 30 meetings with Parliamentarians. Stay tuned for Matt and Rachel’s stories in the spring Canadian Psychiatry Aujourd’hui.
