A Canadian Psychiatric Association position statement calls on the federal government to address a growing crisis in Canada’s correctional facilities and to make better access to these vital services part of the federal crime agenda.

CPA Supports Bill for a National Suicide Prevention Framework
The Canadian Psychiatric Association has written a letter in support of Harold Albrecht's private member's bill, Bill C-300, An Act respecting a Federal Framework for Suicide Prevention. This bill is likely to go to second reading and be debated in Parliament this February.
