The Canadian Psychiatric Association’s (CPA) Annual Conference is the largest psychiatric continuing professional development (CPD) program in Canada. Each year, more than 1,200 psychiatrists and other mental health care professionals attend the conference to keep up-to-date on the latest research, exchange ideas and network with colleagues from across the country.
This year’s CPA Annual Conference takes place September 12-14, 2019 in Quebec City.

Each year CPA asks annual conference delegates for feedback using an online evaluation form. With an 88 per cent response rate, annual conference program chair Dr. Sanjeev Sockalingam is pleased to share some of the key findings in CPA’s annual Conference Corner. The information collected is valuable to organizers to ensure CPA continues to deliver premier educational content to conference participants. In fact, 85 per cent of respondents agreed that the 2017 conference provided useful CPD that translates into their practice.
