The CIHR – CPA Glenda M. MacQueen Memorial Career Development Award for Women in Psychiatry

Guidelines

Allowable Costs: The funds for each award, to be held at the awardee’s host institution, are to be used specifically for career development activities, as proposed in the awardee’s successful application. The award will abide by CIHR’s standard terms and conditions for grants and awards. Applicants should review the Tri-Agency Guide on Financial Administration for a complete listing and description of allowable costs and activities.

The following expenses may be considered eligible for funding received through this CDA:

Up to a maximum of $25,000 of this award can be used to for clinical release time, or as salaried support to supplement income lost due to reduced clinical hours to conduct research, or for career development.

Conditions of Funding: The applicant must consent to the use and disclosure of full application and nominative information for relevance review and funding decisions at the time of application. The successful applicant must consent to the publication of their profile on the CPA website and in a CPA newsletter. At the end of the award, applicants will be required to submit a brief report to CIHR and CPA describing the impacts this award had on their career development. Applicants must budget for travel expenses to attend the CPA annual conference.
